Father Marco Biography Notes

A native of Mexico and alumnus of St. John's Seminary, Fr. Marco was ordained to the priesthood in 2007 for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

He served as Associate Pastor at Santa Clara Church in Oxnard before relocating to Rome in 2011, where he pursued doctoral studies in Moral Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. In 2015, he was appointed to the faculty of St. John's Seminary, where he has been professor and formator ever since.

​Fr. Marco served as rector of St. John's Seminary from 2018 to 2025.
